Ken Mai is an International Japanese Butoh artist, choreographer, teacher, singer, and yogi. living in Helsinki Finland but he is originally from Nara, Japan. He studied by legend butoh founder; Kazuo Ohno & member of the Byakko-Sha butoh company in Kyoto, Japan. He was also a dancer at well-known Eguchi Otoya & Sumiko Modern dance company(German expressionist dance) in Osaka, Japan.. He has been performing and teaching in more than 30 countries. He is also a YOGI trained Ancient Hatha Yoga in Rishikesh, India. Background: gymnastics, martial arts, ballet, laban, acting, rock drummer, singing, and zen practiced at Monastery in 16 years in kyoto, Jaoan.
